We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at HealthEcareers - Client. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for supervising nursing staff and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct nursing staff to ensure the best possible patient care.
- Assist the Director of Nursing in coordinating and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
- Supervise nursing services during shifts, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist nurses with patients during acute episodes and provide guidance as needed.
- Address employee concerns in a timely manner and document actions.
- Assume on-call responsibilities as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Registered Nurse with a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to supervise nursing staff and ensure timely completion of work assignments.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and policies.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
