Guitar Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Guitar Faculty member to join our team at the Boston School of Music Arts. As a Guitar Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced musicians.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for students of all ages and skill levels
• Provide one-on-one and group instruction in guitar playing and music theory
• Prepare students for community performances and school events
• May prepare students for competitions as a representative of the Boston School of Music Arts
• Teach small groups and bands weekly

• Prefer Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field
• Solid guitar performance experience and teaching ability
• Reliable and organized
• Ability to create a warm and engaging music learning experience in 1-on-1 and group settings
• Must pass background test, showing suitability to teach children
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
