About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Brookings Health System. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hospital are clean and well-maintained.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas of the hospital are cleaned to a high standard.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas of the hospital are clean and well-maintained.
  • Identify and address any cleaning or maintenance issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all areas of the hospital are clean and well-maintained.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
