Job Title: Mechanical Designer

Cimarron is seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to provide design support for the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the Sentinel program in Ogden, UT.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed 3D models for pipe supports and associated mechanical systems using industry-standard software.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure the accuracy of designs and compliance with project specifications.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics for mechanical system designs.
  • Create detailed design documents and ensure they meet both internal and external requirements.
  • Modify and optimize designs based on engineering feedback and project updates.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise in mechanical design solutions.
Requirements:
  • U.S. citizenship due to facility security requirements.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • 7 or more years of mechanical design experience.
  • Experience creating 3D models of pipe supports.
  • Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with engineering teams and other project stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Experience with S3D or SmartPlant.
