Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Leasing Professional to join our team at Freeman Webb Company. As a Leasing Professional, you will be responsible for showing and leasing apartments to prospective residents, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with prospective residents, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current residents, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Stay up-to-date on community policies, amenities, and services, ensuring accurate information is provided to prospective residents.
  • Accompany prospects to model apartments, highlighting the features and benefits of our properties.
  • Process lease applications, collect rental deposits, and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Inspect model apartments daily, reporting any maintenance issues to the relevant teams.
  • Compile and update listings of available rental units, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to prospective residents.
  • Assist with the composition of newspaper advertisements, promoting our properties to a wider audience.
  • Conduct credit checks, verify employment history, and obtain necessary documentation from prospective residents.
  • Substitute for the Assistant Manager as needed, ensuring seamless coverage and continuity.
  • Adhere to all fair housing laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and maintaining a positive reputation for Freeman Webb Company.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in basic office equipment, including computers, copiers, and telephones.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Work Environment

This role requires working primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor work in various weather conditions. You will be working near moving mechanical office equipment parts, with a moderate noise level in the work environment.
