Job Title: Delivery Driver

At Otto Environmental Systems, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a 16' box truck to make on-time deliveries
  • Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to shipping/receiving documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including trucks, to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with production team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet delivery schedules
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; extensive experience driving a box truck on NYC streets
  • Proven experience with GPS and delivery software
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to adhere to strict safety standards
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery in a controlled, precise manner
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed to support delivery demands
  • Ability to work 6 days a week and 10-hour days
  • Must obtain a medical card from a doctor (DOT requirement)
