About the Job

The Charge Registered Nurse - PACU is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of nurses in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of compassion and respect.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma from an accredited school.
  • Current Florida RN license.
  • At least 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a critical care or surgical setting.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Advanced certifications, such as CCRN or CNOR.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
