About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer III to join our Transportation Practice in Tampa, FL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional engineering consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects.
  • Develop and evaluate engineering reports, plans, and specification criteria for various projects.
  • Coordinate with project teams, including client communication, proposal coordination, marketing, and presentations.
  • Prepare specifications, scaled drawings, and proposals, ensuring finished plans and specifications meet approval requirements.
  • Review and approve scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
  • Meet with clients to determine objectives and requirements for executing desired scope.
  • Review junior staff's work for technical accuracy and provide technical guidance to other professionals and technicians.
  • Perform quality control reviews and ensure achievement of key milestones.
  • Maintain professional registration and licensure by ensuring conformance with professional, ethical, educational, and discipline practice requirements.
  • Remain knowledgeable of all applicable federal, state, and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.
  • May supervise direct reports, including hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and productivity management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
  • Minimum ten years of relevant experience.
  • PE required.
  • Advanced level of oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Experience working on parts of a major project or multiple moderate-sized projects.
  • Proven experience providing technical guidance to entry/junior level staff.
