Servpro is a leading name in property damage restoration, boasting over 2,200 locations across the nation. We focus on fire, water, and biohazard cleaning services. Our local franchises cater to Lehigh County and nearby regions.
Position Overview
The Contents department is dedicated to recovering and restoring clients' possessions. Your role will involve processing, sorting, and meticulously cleaning various household items, from small belongings to large furniture pieces. This position reports directly to the Production Manager. The ideal candidate should possess prior experience in cleaning, sorting, and managing valuable items. Strong customer service skills are crucial.
Compensation: $19 - $22 per hour based on experience + $1,200 bonus after 90 days
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer possessions, including furniture, electronics, art, and textiles, while adhering to quality control standards
- Utilize various specialty cleaning techniques
- Follow safety protocols for chemical and supply usage
- Operate industrial Ultrasonic cleaning equipment
- Maintain detailed inventory records; capture and upload images for insurance purposes
- Carefully pack and unpack items following company guidelines
- Organize and transport furniture and boxes within our storage facility
- Previous experience in cleaning, moving, packing, or inventory management is required
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's License with the capability to operate large vehicles safely
- Experience with iCat or similar software is advantageous
