We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse to join our team at Yavapai Regional Medical Center - West. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care in a Med Surg and Tele setting.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to Med Surg and Tele patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, including CHF, COVID, resp, GI, Diabetics, Tele, post cath, and total joint replacement.
- Interpret telemetry strips and sign at least once a shift.
- Participate in unit-specific orientation and training programs to ensure proficiency in unit-specific skills and knowledge.
- Float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified.
- 2 years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience.
- 1 year of PCU experience.
- Current state license required.
- Ability to work 7-7 shifts, with 2 weekends per 4-week schedule.
- Ability to work holidays, including Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving.
- Telemetry- WC-Cardiac/Medical 3rd Floor- Cost Center.
- 49 beds.
- 1:5 patient-to-nurse ratio.
- Common diagnoses/types of patients: CHF, COVID, resp, GI, Diabetics, Tele, post cath, and total joint replacement.
