As an Ophthalmology Tech at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team in Riverton, Utah.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preliminary examinations and evaluations of patients with ocular complaints, disease, or disorders.
• Perform technical tests and provide information to ophthalmologists to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure seamless patient flow.
• Collaborate with other technicians to facilitate efficient patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.
Requirements:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• One year of experience as an ophthalmic technician, ophthalmic assistant, or optometric technician.
• EMR experience and strong computer literacy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
