Job Title: School Monitor

Riviere Elementary is seeking a reliable and responsible School Monitor to join our team. As a School Monitor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise students during lunch and recess periods to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Assist teachers with non-instructional tasks, such as maintaining student records and performing administrative duties.
  • Respond to student needs and provide support as required.
  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and implement strategies to promote student behavior and academic success.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or other school administrators.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and move around the school campus.
Working Conditions:

The School Monitor will work in a school setting, with regular exposure to students, teachers, and other school staff. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

The School Monitor will be required to work a regular schedule, with occasional flexibility to accommodate school events and activities.
