Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified fabricator to enhance our welding and fabrication teams. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Knowledge of pipefitting, particularly with copper and/or stainless steel, is highly desirable. A strong ability to interpret and work from blueprints is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute TIG welding tasks with precision and skill.
  • Utilize various welding techniques on materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
  • Read and interpret complex specifications, drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Plan and layout diversified work, which may include short-run production or custom fabrication.
  • Adhere to critical safety and load requirements during welding processes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Technical training in welding is required.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and apply hand-eye coordination effectively.
  • Experience with shielded metal arc and gas-tungsten arc welding methods.

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in fabrication and blueprint reading.
  • Strong TIG welding capabilities.
  • Familiarity with pipe fitting and use of hand tools.
  • Experience in production and assembly processes.
