**Key Responsibilities:**

* Utilize sterile or aseptic technique to scrub in and perform vascular, interventional, and surgical procedures per protocol.
* Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
* Ensure patients safety and comfort during and after exams.
* Demonstrate understanding of primary purpose of drugs used in IR, indications, contraindications, contrast drug interactions and major effects.
* Record and maintain procedural data to include injection data, elapsed fluoroscopic time and procedural information.
* Monitor equipment, systems, clean equipment, and effects timely repair.
* Learn new technical information and skills through attendance of periodic in-service programs and participation in professional affiliation sessions.

**Requirements:**

* Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
* Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing.
* Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
* Basic Life Support certification.
* Preferred qualifications include one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, certification in cardiovascular-interventional radiography or vascular-interventional radiology, and previous experience in a high-volume angiography department.

**Physical Requirements:**

* Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
* Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.
