Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for planning and implementing habilitative and rehabilitative programs for individuals who exhibit speech, language, and swallowing problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop goals for treatment
  • Provide direct therapy services to patients, including speech, language, and swallowing therapy
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure from the Iowa Department of Public Health
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations and in outpatient settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
