Position: Medical Assistant (MA) / Sign-On Bonus Available*

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for executing both administrative and specific clinical tasks under the supervision of a healthcare provider. Your duties will include scheduling patient appointments, managing medical records, processing billing and coding for insurance claims, recording vital signs, gathering medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience is preferred, with prior experience in a medical office setting being advantageous.
Other: Proficiency in reading, writing, and effective communication is essential. Basic computer skills are required.
Preferred Certification: Certified Nurse Assistant

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role, with or without reasonable accommodation. While fulfilling the responsibilities of this position, the employee is expected to: Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to resolve issues and make informed decisions. Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, typically 8-10 hours during shifts. Spend 8 hours or more daily in front of a computer or similar screen, utilizing a keyboard and/or mouse. Maintain acute sensory awareness when interacting with patients, family members, physicians, and colleagues. Handle critical and high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure. Occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 20 lbs.


Safety Sensitive Role:
This position is classified as safety sensitive in accordance with relevant regulations governing medical practices.

Work Environment:
Clinic and healthcare setting.
