Occupational Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Cora Physical Therapy.

About Us:

Cora Physical Therapy is a leading provider of outpatient services, specializing in orthopedic problems, work-related injuries, sports injuries, and neuromuscular and neurological conditions.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional quality of care to patients. The role involves performing evaluations, developing treatment plans, providing occupational therapy treatment, documenting patient interactions, and educating patients and families about their condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate new patients to establish goals and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Provide efficient and effective occupational therapy treatment in accordance with the established treatment plan
  • Document all evaluations, treatments, and other pertinent patient interactions
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with the patient, family, and other members of the rehabilitation team
  • Supervise and instruct occupational therapy students according to professional guidelines

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy educational program
  • Active Occupational Therapist state license (or in process)
  • Able to work effectively in teams and autonomously in a fast-paced environment
