About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with leadership skills to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in the Intermediate Care Unit. As a CNC, you will mentor and support your team members to provide exceptional direct nursing care to adult patients who are acutely ill and recovering from various medical conditions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality patient-centered care
- Assist with admission and discharge processes
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership teams to drive improved outcomes and services
About You:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License
- 3+ years of current nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)
- 1 year of leadership experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
- Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification
