Position Overview:
Warehouse associates are integral to our company's success. They actively, safely, and independently maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process while ensuring quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive all incoming merchandise and identify appropriate storage locations.Restock order pick and flow lines to prepare the warehouse for order selection.Ensure product placement in sufficient quantities to meet routine or special demands.Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring proper care is given to all areas, including balers, aisles, racking, floors, door pits, and other assigned areas.Transfer merchandise from the receiving area to its designated location.Consolidate merchandise into picking containers as necessary.Securely pack products in cartons and totes.Apply shipping IDs and label cartons/totes with truck run and stop numbers.Ensure safe and efficient movement and tracking of inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse while maintaining inventory integrity by adhering to system processes.Pull orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run lists.Record quantities of materials or items received or distributed.Perform end-of-shift tasks such as charging power equipment and verifying completed work.Maintain an orderly workstation; return supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures as per company guidelines.Ensure the work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or actions immediately.Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED.Ability to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position.Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish products from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to approximately 60 to 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout the shift.Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer, and dry.Able to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as Forklift operation.Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent; 1+ years of warehouse and/or distribution work experience; Foodservice distribution or related industry experience.
