Maintenance Mechanic 3 Job Summary

The Wine Group is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic 3 to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment, including facility and grounds. You will also troubleshoot and repair mechanical and industrial electrical systems, as well as industrial PLCs. Additionally, you will provide leadership to maintenance employees in the absence of the Industrial Process Engineer and facilitate work assignments to ensure the facility meets its needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment, including facility and grounds.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and industrial electrical systems, as well as industrial PLCs.
  • Provide leadership to maintenance employees in the absence of the Industrial Process Engineer.
  • Facilitate work assignments to ensure the facility meets its needs.
  • Manage projects on behalf of the Maintenance Department.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or equivalent role.
  • Ability to work independently on any assigned shift with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics (mechanical and electrical).
  • Valid forklift certification.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to lift and carry weights of up to 55 pounds at varying frequency and duration.
  • Must be able to repeatedly climb stairs/vertical tank ladders at heights of 40 feet and higher.
  • Work at various heights 40 feet or higher, as well as in confined spaces.
  • Work with hazardous chemicals and wear a face mask and appropriate PPE.
Compensation:

Hourly pay rate: $32.25/hr. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities, education, and other position-related factors.
