Purpose of the Position:

As a skilled Cardiovascular Nurse at Midland Memorial Hospital, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the Cath Lab setting. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes in their status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • Current unrestricted RN license in the state.
  • Previous work experience as an RN.
Workplace Conditions:
  • Frequent lifting, bending, and reaching.
  • May require lifting up to 80 pounds using proper techniques.
  • May require standing and walking for 2-5 hours at a time.
  • May have exposure to chemicals, radiation, infectious diseases/waste, and/or blood-borne pathogens.
