BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, providing expert care and support in the comfort of their own homes.
About the JobThis full-time position involves performing home visits to adult/senior clients, conducting diagnostic tests and assessments, and developing personalized care plans to promote rehabilitation and independence. As a Physical Therapist at BAYADA, you will be part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, working closely with nurses and other professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and develop individualized care plans to address physical therapy goals.
- Implement evidence-based interventions, such as manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance activities, to promote client recovery and well-being.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless delivery of care and effective communication with clients and families.
- Educate clients and family members on rehabilitative care and strategies to maintain independence.
- Accurately document client progress, observations, and interventions, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
- A current NJ Physical Therapist license.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- An estimated salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
