We are seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technician to join our team at Good Samaritan Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and performing special procedures related to cardiac testing.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for echocardiography testing, including attaching EKGs and performing skin prep according to protocol.
- Operate echocardiography equipment to record ultrasound from the heart walls, valves, and support structures.
- Record all test results to ensure accurate diagnosis of structure and valve abnormalities.
- Develop, cut, and mount echocardiography results, and conduct stress tests using accepted procedures.
- Monitor equipment during procedures and ensure an adequate store of supplies used in the non-invasive laboratory.
- Clinical experience involving conducting EP/Pacemaker examinations is preferred.
- BLS certification is required, and RCIS, RCES, or CCT certification is also required.
- Graduation from an accredited course of Cardiovascular Technology is required.
