We are seeking a highly skilled Security and Compliance Professional to join our team at Quadrant Inc. as an Information Assurance (IA) SME. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing team personnel to solve complex IA problems, evaluating functional operation and performance, and guiding the implementation of appropriate operational structures and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct team personnel to quickly, efficiently, and effectively solve complex IA problems.
- Evaluate functional operation and performance in light of test results and make recommendations regarding Certification and Accreditation (C&A).
- Guide the implementation of appropriate operational structures and processes to ensure an effective IA security program, including boundary defense, incident detection, and response.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of IA security procedures and safeguards.
- Ensure that protection and detection capabilities are acquired or developed using the Information Systems (IS) security engineering approach and are consistent with Department of Defense (DoD) Component level IA architecture.
- Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of IA certification and accreditation documentation. Analyze, develop, evaluate, and integrate IA policies.
- Provide leadership and guidance in the development, design, and application of solutions implemented by more junior staff members.
- Secret clearance required.
- Experience as an Information Assurance SME.
- IASE level II Cert or higher required.
- 10+ years of experience.
- Experience with the rigorous application of IA policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of all information technology (IT) and IA services.
- Experience transitioning an information system from a physical to cloud environment.
- Experience leading a small team of analysts solving complex IA problems.
- Bachelor's degree required in a technical discipline.
