Job Summary:

This Maintenance Generalist position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all equipment and company assets at Tyson Foods Inc. by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems.
  • Install and maintain equipment, including mixers, pumps, and processing equipment.
  • Perform minor fabrication and operate machine shop equipment as needed.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to Tyson Foods Inc. policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience or completion of an industrial maintenance training program.
  • General knowledge of gear drives and conveyors, as well as pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • Ability to work in adverse temperatures and perform physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Schedule:
