Job Description

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of Oracle Cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing best practices to operate and maintain resilient secure Oracle Cloud environments, enabling development teams to deliver features efficiently. This is a remote opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles.
  • Maintenance and ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments.
  • Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments.
  • Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all OCI deployments.
  • Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud architecture best practices.

Qualifications

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance to start and the ability to get a full secret clearance.
  • Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
    • Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban.
    • Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence.
    • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory).
    • Oracle OCI certified or equivalent years of experience working with Oracle cloud services.
    • Oracle PeopleSoft and PeopleTools experience preferred but not required.
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of Oracle cloud concepts (Compartments, Identity Domains, Dynamic groups, etc).
    • Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm.
    • PowerShell or Bash Scripting.
    • Cyber tools - Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Qmulous, STIG scanner.
    • Terraform, Ansible, Oracle Stacks.
    • Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow.
    • Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures.
    • Ability to dive deep into any part of the stack and low-level systems.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000.

SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
