Overnight Operations Assistant Supervisor

Position Overview: The Overnight Operations Assistant Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the Late Night Supervisor in overseeing the facility during the overnight hours. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of service and ensuring a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all clients.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent credits with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with at least 1 year of experience.
- Prior experience working with children and adolescents is mandatory.
- Supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated competency in engaging with youth is essential.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Applicants must be of legal age.
- A valid driver's license, SCM certification, and CPR/First Aid certification are required.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours, including overtime, is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluating staff performance, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to the team.
- Participate in weekly leadership and departmental meetings as directed by the Late Night Supervisor or Manager.
- Facilitate or co-facilitate weekly meetings with direct reports.
- Communicate concerns, issues, and recognitions to the Late Night Leadership and direct reports promptly.
- Assist in managing the ordering and maintenance of necessary supplies.
- Support in the search and management of elopement situations.
- Ensure compliance with staffing ratios during overnight shifts at all times.
- Assist the Late Night Supervisor in the recruitment and hiring of overnight staff.
- Contribute to the supervision and training of all overnight staff, including providing training during shifts.
- Effectively de-escalate clients in crisis and perform necessary restraints as mandated by licensed professionals, utilizing approved methodologies.
