Inventory Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory and Purchasing Coordinator to join our team at Medical Application Repair & Sales. The ideal candidate will manage and control inventory, order parts, search for better pricing, and help improve processes to mitigate loss.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory shipments for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular physical inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies.
- Search for and evaluate alternative suppliers to find better pricing for parts and materials.
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to optimize inventory control and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast inventory needs and generate reorder requests.
- Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Address and resolve any shipping-related issues, such as delays or damages.
- Provide support to various departments as needed, including data entry, report generation, and administrative tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree in business administration or a related field preferred).
- Proven experience in inventory management, purchasing, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with warehousing operations, purchase orders, and inventory control processes.
- $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
