We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team at AccentCare, Inc. as a Field Nurse. As a Field Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need of hospice services in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families, including pain and symptom management, wound care, and medication management.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, social workers, and chaplains, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in hospice care and to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Current RN licensure in the state of operation
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a hospice or palliative care setting
- Valid CPR certification
- Ability to travel to all business locations, including patient homes and office settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
