As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless golfing experience, and maintaining a clean and organized golf shop and cart fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist golf professionals with checking in golfers and maintaining a properly functioning tee sheet and pace of play.
  2. Receive and process merchandise, adhering to purchase order procedures.
  3. Assist with rotating shop displays and maintaining an organized stock room.
  4. Bring carts from the cart barn in the morning and return them at the end of the day.
  5. Clean, fuel, and check carts after each use.
  6. Ensure carts are available for player use at all times.
  7. Receive and communicate complaints to the Pro Shop.
  8. Work closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for and conduct golf tournaments.
  9. Maintain an organized stock room and assist the buyer and other shop assistants with stock and golf shop cleanliness.
  10. Assist with pricing of merchandise and maintaining proper inventory counts and levels.

Requirements:

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height.
  • Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping.
  • Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Normal vision and hearing required.

Working Conditions:

The Pro Shop/Cart Attendant will work in a fast-paced golf shop environment, interacting with guests and staff. The ability to work in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service is essential.
