The Froster role plays a crucial part in our success, ensuring that every cake meets our high standards. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for making our signature frosting and applying it to cakes with precision and speed. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision and achieve productivity goals.
  • Utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade or handheld mixer, and pastry bag to frost cakes.
  • Prioritize cake pre-orders according to schedule and frost cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case and maintain appropriate frosting and frosted cake par levels.
  • Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of frosted cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintain frosting and refrigeration logs.
  • Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
  • Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure Nothing Bundt Cakes standards are met and inform management of any quality control issues.
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock workstation, ensure frosting supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift, and wash equipment in the absence of the Dishwasher/Utility Employee.
  • Comply with all health and safety guidelines and Nothing Bundt Cakes policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
