About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic High Line Experience Coordinator to join our Operations team at Friends of the High Line. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional visitor experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of the park.

This is a Part-Time, year-round, non-exempt position with an estimated salary of $22/hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance visitor engagement and satisfaction, working closely with other teams to achieve goals.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including executing standard operating procedures and collaborating with other departments.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to visitor inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in operations at a public venue or outdoor space.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependability, initiative, and personal accountability, with the ability to maintain composure and resilience in high-pressure situations.
