- Obtain vital signs and provide emergency care in collaboration with the provider
- Assist with patient registration, intake, and checkout
- Help manage the waiting room and perform other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience
- Prepare the clinic and waiting space for the best patient experience
- Full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia
- Clinical experience, point of testing, and phlebotomy
- Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission)
- Previous experience administering immunizations and injections and providing evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education
- Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room
- Previous experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Record
