Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery, including hydraulic systems, pumps, and bearing replacements.
- Conduct measurements, layouts, fabrication, installations, and repairs while adhering to company safety standards and promoting a safe working environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and supervisors to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in a related field, along with 1 year related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience equal to 4 years.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment, with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazardous conditions. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights of up to 20 feet.
