Radiologic Imaging Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing X-ray procedures according to established protocols and physician orders. This includes positioning patients accurately and ensuring proper alignment to obtain high-quality images.

You will also be responsible for operating and maintaining X-ray equipment, performing routine calibrations and troubleshooting as needed. Additionally, you will follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and staff.

Other key responsibilities include reviewing and evaluating images for technical quality, ensuring images are properly documented and filed, and providing clear instructions to patients.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of procedures, patient information, and equipment usage, as well as assisting with patient preparation and providing support during and after imaging procedures.

Collaboration with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals is also a key aspect of this role, as you will work together to support patient care and diagnostic accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid certification as an X-Ray Technologist (e.g., ARRT) and state licensure as required.
  • 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist preferred, but will accept new graduates.
