Job Overview

Marco's Pizza - MPUT is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our restaurant crew, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our guests receive a Five-Star experience.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately and efficiently handle cash transactions, making change as needed.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors, teammates, and customers, both verbally and in writing.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure that our restaurant is a safe and secure environment for our customers and employees.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in cash handling and inventory management.
  • Attributes: Enjoys serving others, able to work flexible schedules, tactful, courteous, and respectful when interacting with others, comfortable using technology and restaurant equipment, and safety conscious.
