The Virginia Department of Human Resource Management invites applications for a Drama Instructor position in the discipline of Acting. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of students at Norfolk State University.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly qualified and experienced instructor to teach acting, Intro to Theatre, and/or other areas as qualified. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and training a diverse population of students with a collaborative and open attitude and being a role model for students.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching acting and related courses
- Supervising and mentoring students
- Developing and implementing curriculum
- M.F.A. in Acting or related field
- Evidence of teaching experience
- Experience as a professional actor including performing African American theatrical works

Salary InformationThe estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
