Senior Mechanical Engineer

Parker Towing Company is seeking a skilled engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the mechanical integrity of our vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and associated equipment.
• Assist in the maintenance of air and electronic control systems, reduction gears, AC generators, electrical switchboards, and electrical equipment.
• Participate in dry-dockings and major repairs/overhauls.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations and requirements.
• Assist in conducting fire emergency procedures and fire drills.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
