Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation team at Coloma Rehab. In this role, you will work closely with our physical therapists to develop and implement treatment plans that help patients achieve optimal recovery and function.

Responsibilities:

">
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and create personalized treatment plans to improve their strength, mobility, and overall well-being.">
  • Implement evidence-based treatments and interventions to address various physical therapy goals and objectives.">
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.">
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and document patient progress in accordance with department standards and regulatory requirements.">
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on proper techniques and strategies for injury prevention and management.">

Requirements:

">
  • Certified as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) through an accredited program.">
  • Licensed to practice as a PTA in the state of Michigan.">
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.">
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.">
  • Specialty certification in PTA or related field highly recommended.">

This position is located at our Coloma Rehab facility, serving patients from throughout Southwest Michigan. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

Employment Type:

This is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday, with flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of our patients and staff.
