Biomanufacturing Instructor

Job Title:
Part-Time Biomanufacturing Instructor

Job Summary:
Worcester Polytechnic Institute is seeking a part-time biomanufacturing instructor to teach courses in our Biomanufacturing Education and Training Center (BETC). The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in the bioprocessing industry and be able to teach courses on upstream and downstream processing, microbial fermentation, and biomanufacturing fundamentals.

Responsibilities:

Teach courses onsite at the BETC and occasionally at corporate locations
Develop and deliver curriculum for biomanufacturing courses
Guide participants through the full biomanufacturing process
Use lab equipment in a simulated GMP bioprocessing facility

Requirements:

15+ years of experience working in the bioprocessing industry
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Prior training/teaching experience preferred
