Culinary Assistant

Bizzell Group is seeking a skilled Culinary Worker to join our team at Guthrie Jobs Corps Center in Guthrie, Oklahoma. As an Assistant Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving nutritious meals to our students. • Assist in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring high-quality food and excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the food service manager to plan and prepare meals, including menu planning and inventory management.
• Ensure that all meals meet the dietary needs and preferences of our diverse student population.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in food service and culinary arts.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• One to three months of food service/preparation experience or related experience.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
