The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service and Warehouse Specialist to join our Parts department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and coordinating shipping and receiving activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide timely and effective communication to internal and external stakeholders regarding part specifications, sales orders, and acknowledgments.
  • Inventory Management: Research part numbers, adjust coding and cost/pricing as needed, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Order Processing: Understand ordering trends and process customer purchase orders with a high sense of urgency.
  • Quoting and Communication: Gather critical information and enter quoting for customer review, maintaining clear communication throughout the life of an order.
  • Warehouse Operations: Perform standard warehousing duties, including receiving inventory, processing picking lists, and staging material for service technicians.
  • Inventory Cycle Counts: Assist with inventory cycle counts and overall warehouse organization.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3+ years' experience in material handling or a similar position, preferably in an industrial, distribution, or warehouse setting.
  • Background: Background in manufacturing or industrial supply chain.
  • Skills: Strong experience in a customer-facing role, advanced Microsoft Excel ability, and proficiency in Infor ERP LN or equivalent SAP ERP/inventory management system.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Specific product knowledge with air compressors or HVAC components or controls, familiarity with the air compressor industry, strong interpersonal skills, and forklift certification.
