Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Glen Cove Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating Nuclear Medicine apparatus and auxiliary equipment to produce diagnostic scans for physician interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough patient screening prior to procedures
  • Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures in a clear and concise manner
  • Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment to administer exams and produce diagnostic images
  • Enter patient history data and other relevant information into our system
  • Label images for identification and maintain required records
  • Perform related duties as required
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program
  • Current New York State License as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) and/or certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Previous nuclear medicine technology experience preferred
