We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Glen Cove Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating Nuclear Medicine apparatus and auxiliary equipment to produce diagnostic scans for physician interpretation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough patient screening prior to procedures
- Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures in a clear and concise manner
- Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment to administer exams and produce diagnostic images
- Enter patient history data and other relevant information into our system
- Label images for identification and maintain required records
- Perform related duties as required
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program
- Current New York State License as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) and/or certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Previous nuclear medicine technology experience preferred
