Adjunct Professor of Accounting

Seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty Member to teach accounting courses for our Executive MBA (EMBA) program at the Manhattan campus. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to teach in our joint MBA program with Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) in China. This unique opportunity offers exposure to international business environments and provides valuable cross-cultural teaching experiences.
Responsibilities
Teach accounting courses for the EMBA program, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, and auditing. Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and exams. Evaluate student performance and provide feedback. Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency in course content and delivery. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of new courses and programs. Teach in the joint MBA program with JUFE in China, including developing and delivering course materials, evaluating student performance, and providing feedback. Travel to China periodically to teach in the NYIT-JUFE joint MBA program.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Accounting or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA) and/or publications in accounting-related journals are desirable but optional. Previous teaching experience at the college or university level, with a demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
What We Offer
New York Tech offers a competitive hourly rate for this position. The annual base salary range for this position is listed. New York Tech considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience/expertise, education/training, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market, organizational considerations and/or applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer. Adjunct Faculty offered hourly rate is contingent on applicable rank.

USD $97.00/Hr.
Maximum Salary
USD $106.00/Hr.
