Job Summary

Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Gastroenterology Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching, and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ambulatory and inpatient care for children with gastrointestinal disorders, including motility disorders.
  • Perform general GI procedures, such as upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, with related therapeutic procedures.
  • Supervise and educate medical students, residents, and fellows in Gastroenterology.
  • Participate in research and academic activities within the Department of Pediatrics.
Requirements
  • M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree, or equivalent.
  • Completion of an ACGME approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology (or equivalent).
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology medicine (or eligible for same).
