About the Opportunity:
UMass Memorial Health Care is seeking an ABR/CAQ certified Neuroradiologist to join our Division within the Department of Radiology. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of radiologists, residents, and fellows in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About Our Department:
- We have a team of ~80 Radiologists, 20 residents, 9 fellows, and 15 PhDs, providing a rich and diverse learning environment.
- Our health system covers over one million lives and is a Level 1 Trauma Center with 95,000 ED visits per year, offering a wide range of clinical experiences.
- We have over $6M/year in research funding, encouraging and supporting academic pursuits in research and education.
- Our department has state-of-the-art imaging equipment, AGFA PACS system, EPIC EMR, Tera-Recon image processing software, and Powerscribe 360, with several AI algorithms in use.
- The Division of Neuroradiology provides clinical focus in stroke imaging, including perfusion, adult tumor imaging, advanced Neuroimaging, head and neck tumors, and neurodegenerative diseases.
Responsibilities:
- You will be an integral member of our division, teaching and mentoring our 2 dedicated neuroradiology fellows, diagnostic radiology residents, and rotating medical students.
- You will have responsibilities in both adult and pediatric neuroradiology, including brain, head and neck, and spine.
- You will provide occasional evening and weekend coverage, shared amongst our 9 faculty members.
- You will work a one week on and one week off schedule, allowing for a good work-life balance.
