Job Overview

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a long-term contract role. This position requires full-time presence at the designated location. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting formulation and coating experiments that replicate customer processes for electrode formation. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a solid understanding of experimental techniques, and precise documentation.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform materials characterization tests, including laser light scattering, surface area analysis, and gravimetric analysis.
  • Assist in compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting experimental results. A strong ability to adhere to established procedures and collaborate effectively within a self-directed team is essential.
  • Conduct formulation and coating experiments that simulate customer electrode formation processes.
  • Exhibit a keen attention to detail, a thorough understanding of experimental methods, and maintain accurate records.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, alongside strong communication and time management skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a laboratory testing environment, whether academic or professional.
  • Ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail and uphold rigorous experimental methodologies.
