Primary Responsibilities

  • Craft and present a variety of desserts and baked items.
  • Adhere to sanitation and safety protocols diligently.
  • Ensure all products are stored, prepared, and served in accordance with established standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
  • Follow precise recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients, while managing portion sizes and production levels.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workspaces and kitchen equipment.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and organize ingredients, tools, supplies, and equipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and products.
  • Regularly stock and replenish pastries, cakes, pies, and other baked goods.
  • Arrive at work punctually and in appropriate attire.
  • Maintain professional appearance standards at all times.
  • Stay informed about the work schedule.
  • Follow safety guidelines to promote a secure working environment.
  • Respond positively to all work-related requests from management to ensure member satisfaction.
  • Conduct inspections and maintain all assigned areas.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of experience in a pastry-focused professional setting.
  • Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field.
