Job SummaryThis part-time position is available in our Emergency Department, offering 24 hours of work per week. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with specialists as needed, and adjust nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care.
About the JobThis role performs a dual function, clinical and managerial. You will communicate effectively with physicians, nurse managers, directors, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals about patient care and treatment plans. Your ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment is essential.
You will also be responsible for providing head-to-toe assessments on all patients, evaluating pain levels, utilizing appropriate pain management techniques, educating patients and families about pain management, and using triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care.
