Job Title: Systems Engineer

The Swift Group is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for our enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software solutions for our enterprise systems
  • Implement and maintain software systems, including Linux hosts, Puppet, Splunk, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins
  • Deploy worldwide enterprise solutions using AWS-based technologies
  • Configure and troubleshoot network components, including Linux operating systems and network devices
  • Implement operating system enhancements and prototype enterprise-scale solutions
  • Develop and support Java/Javascript, C/C++, MySQL, and SQL Server applications
  • Use Agile methodologies to perform detailed analysis and develop software solutions
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or systems architecture
  • Demonstrated experience managing Linux hosts, including RHEL and CENTOS, in an enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated experience with Puppet, Splunk, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins
  • Demonstrated experience deploying worldwide enterprise solutions using AWS-based technologies
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and troubleshooting network components, including Linux operating systems and network devices
  • Demonstrated experience implementing operating system enhancements and prototyping enterprise-scale solutions
  • Demonstrated experience developing and supporting Java/Javascript, C/C++, MySQL, and SQL Server applications
  • Demonstrated experience using Agile methodologies to perform detailed analysis and develop software solutions
  • US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
Desired Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience with VMWare and RAID configurations
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure and technologies
  • Demonstrated experience with Cloudwatch
  • Demonstrated experience using the Atlassian Suite of tools
  • Demonstrated experience with the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
  • Demonstrated experience using the command line to interact with LDAP repositories
  • Demonstrated experience with XML schemas
